Ranger was a multiple group placing winner. And a sire of Merit, and produced group winners.

Ranger had very early color and finished his championship at a year old. He was a terrific dog. Compact dog with a very short back, long neck, great topline, great front end and rear end assemblies, great mover from every angle, great bone, gorgeous coat and color. He was a 19 1/4 inch tall dog that was very well put together. He corrected movement from the bitches he was bred to in their pups. Great temperamented dog. He loved everyone and was a very outgoing dog. Nothing bothered him. And not a mean bone in his body. I used to take him with me night fishing and hiking. He even scaled a rock that was about 15 feet high and on a sharp incline and smooth on the side that he climbed up! Very strong dog, he was solid muscle. He was great with puppies, even when they all would grab a different leg and pull him in every direction!
